Greetings and Introduction.
1. Allow teachers to realize that the group consists of all the history teachers from High School grade levels.
2. Make known and explain the purpose of the training.

The session will be held in the computer lab where computers and projectorare available in an uninterrupted environment.
Provide coffee and water for the participants.
The teachers will create a product that will foster success.

The facilitator has a short Power Point presentation with three final student project examples, particular CIP goals and WIKI address for support and followup.
1. Teachers will pair up with a subject area partner.
2. Teachers are shown an example of a finished project.
3. Teachers need to log in to their computers.


Creating a Student Project (Goals of the learning process)
Teachers will use the information obtained to guide them towards a UDL theory based project.
Teachers look at different websites that students could use to create the project.
Pairs use the internet to examine available project ideas, descriptions, and results (facilitator should have some example websites prepared).

Work on creating a sample project (Motivational and emotional influences on learning)
Teachers will create a sample project that will spark student curiosity and interest.
Teachers prepare a sample project or template
Teachers will use their planning and other time to complete a student sample project.
Follow up and publication will done via the training's wiki.

Creation of standards, rubrics, and assessments (Standards and assessments)
To have specific goals, procedures, and desired outcomes for the project’s success.
Teachers will produce a rubric set, procedures, and expectations.
1. Teachers construct a set of instructions, guidelines and procedures.
2. Teachers create a rubric for the project for student assessment.
